Job description


We are looking for a Production Planner for our Accessories division in Scandicci (FI).

The person will be part of the Production Advancement team of our Accessories division, where he/she will be in charge of managing the production advancement of our suppliers.

Main responsibilities :


- Planning and coordinating production according to demand and sales forecasts.
- Checking the launch of materials and verifying that they are correctly dispatched to manufacturers;
- Ensuring that the planning is always up to date and constantly monitoring it;
- Devising the correct back-planning in compliance with all key business deadlines;
- Sharing the timing and priorities with suppliers, and monitoring them, based on the needs of the business;
- Coordinate the procurement team to ensure that raw materials are available on time;
- Support suppliers in solving problems that arise during development and production, through interfacing with the other entities involved;
- Monitor and adhere to production KPI;
- Provide visibility to the supply chain through appropriate delivery plans;
- Monitor supplier performance through KPI.

 

Profile

Requirements

 

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics or relevant discipline;
- At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role preferably within the Fashion Luxury sector;
- Strong goal orientation and excellent problem solving skills;
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken;
- Excellent knowledge of the Office Package, in particular Excel;
- Aptitude for team work and good communication skills;
- Proactive attitude.
